We recently had the pleasure of attending NFTxLV, a three-day celebration of the NFT and Web3 community in the city of Las Vegas.
World Mobile team members who attended included: Micky Watkins, Andrew Soper, James Tagg, Charles Barnett, Emmanuel Gratch, Mike Blake-Crawford, and Will Reid.
NFTxLV showcased the enduring spirit of builders, creators, and passionate communities who make these gatherings truly exceptional. The conference highlighted the belief that blockchain and NFT technology have the potential to be transformative forces, and this idea was felt across the three days.
An Industry Driven by Collaboration
NFTxLV recently underwent a rebranding to better align with its commitment to interoperability and cross-chain collaboration. The event featured a variety of booths, each bringing a fresh take on the NFT and Web3 scene disrupting various industries, from art and collectibles to gaming and finance. The sense of community was palpable, and it was heartening to see how diverse projects were brought together in one place.
Charles Hoskinson, an industry heavyweight, shared some of his insights and vision with guests, underlining the sense of collaboration and mutual support that makes up the NFT and blockchain community.
World Mobile Awareness
The conference enabled many to connect with a wide range of people, and be introduced to World Mobile's AirNode technology, showcasing their hardware and the general World Mobile ecosystem, from the World Mobile App to their token, demonstrating its real-world utility. On the last day of the conference, Micky Watkins and James Tagg had the opportunity to share the stage to speak about EarthNode NFTs and their role in powering the sharing economy of the World Mobile network.
Mobilers at NFTxLV
The favorite aspect of our experience was the opportunity to spend quality time with fellow Mobilers. Although Web3 enables people to work from all corners of the world, being in the same room with Mobilers whether engaging in meetups organized by the EarthNode Alliance to catch up on World Mobile’s plans for the US and other developments or casual conversations was the most memorable experience.
In a crypto market marked by its ups and downs, events like NFTxLV serve as a reminder that builders and visionaries continue to drive innovation and progress in this exciting space.
